The earlier entry on Happiness prompted me to explore the idea further and I did not need to go far, for, on October 4, there was this story in the New York Times about Bhutan and Happiness.
The Times reported that,”...In 1972,King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, decided to make his nation’s priority not its G.D.P. but its G.N.H., or gross national happiness....”
